The TelephoneIntegration update service
The TelephoneIntegration (TI) update service retrieves the needed information (determined by the administrator within the CTI-configuration interface) from the CRM system, processes it and provides it for TI. This is essential if you want TelephoneIntegration to operate. The update service e.g. ensures that telephone numbers are provided to perform calls or that information about the caller/called person are provided within the TI User Interface (balloon) for a more efficient call handling, etc.

RecordCounter - Plugin Registration Error

If the error message Plugin registration error of PTM Plugins! appears after the installation of RecordCounter, it means that the plugin wasn’t updated successfully. To solve this problem, please follow the instructions of this article.

MSCRM Addons Installation for CRM 2011 Online

This blog is on how to install DocumentsCorePack (DCP) and TelephoneIntegration (TI) for CRM 2011 Online. When using CRM 2011 Online, it is important that the server part of the addon is installed somewhere on your network. It can be installed locally on a computer or anywhere else on one of the supported operating systems listed below. The following steps explain how to install the serverpart of DocumentsCorePack and TelephoneIntegration on your system. Please note, that both, client and server must be installed!


How to install DocumensCorePack Client unattended

To install DocumentsCorePack Client for MS CRM 2011/2013/2015/2016 unattended, you need to supply a registry file with the required registry settings.

Unattended install is available for DocumentsCorePack Client Version 5.18 and Version 6.5 or above.

Below, you can download templates to perform the unattended install.

The below files are set up for x86 and x64 systems.


Upgrading CRM 4 to CRM 2011 with 3rd party addons.

Before you can upgrade your CRM 4 to 2011, you will need to uninstall all 3rd party addons and check that all buttons have been deleted. After the migration you can then install the latest version of each addon.
 
Should you have not done this, then it will be more complicated to get rid of the buttons and icons before you can install the CRM 2011 addons.


How to install Dashboard for MS CRM 4 on MS Dynamics CRM 2011

Until now we have no installation routine for our Dashboards for MS CRM 2011. This is why this blog entry describes how to upgrade/install the Dashboards in a MS CRM 2011 environment manually.

Please note: This installation will only work in an on-premise installation and will not work in IFD and Claims-Based-Authentication-Mode.


Upgrade from DocumentsCorePack Server v5.5 to a higher version

If you upgrade from DocumentsCorePack (DCP) Server for MS CRM 2011 v5.5 to a higher version, you have to completely remove DocumentsCorePack Server for MS CRM 2011 from your CRM.
